HomeFront's Women's Initiative Spring Luncheon

We hope to see you at HomeFront’s Women’s Initiative Spring Luncheon on Sunday, April 21st!

What is the Women’s Initiative? The mission of HomeFront’s Women’s Initiative is to mobilize a group of 1,000 caring and committed women of all ages who will lend their expertise and support to help alleviate family homelessness in our community. The Women’s Initiative works in concert with HomeFront’s rich array of programs and services. Through these efforts, we strengthen our community, making it a better place to live, work and raise a family.

This special event will showcase the stories of resilience, challenges, and triumphs by the families we serve. The day promises to be impactful, featuring a brunch reception with live entertainment and an inspiring program. In addition, we will host local artists and vendors, including our own ArtSpace artists, offering a variety of handmade crafts, art, candles, and more for sale.

What makes this event truly meaningful is its purpose—to support HomeFront’s crucial work in ensuring that all children can grow and thrive through academic enrichment and exposure to new experiences, people, and places, as part of our Joy, Hopes, and Dreams Children’s Program. This program serves hundreds of children and their families each year, providing them with the tools and resources they need to envision a future full of hope and possibilities.

Formerly under HomeFront’s care, children have become leaders in their classrooms, professionals in healthcare and business, and independent adults pursuing their dreams. Parents, with a little help during tough times, have built sustaining careers and secured homes of their own. As the cost of living continues to rise, we remain committed to meeting the evolving needs of families until every individual possesses the tools and has the opportunity for success.
