The donated goods HomeFront receives each year allow us to provide food, diapers and other basic necessities with dignity and at no charge to Mercer County residents in need. Much of these goods come through drives that are targeted for specific clients and needs, donated by generous and caring members of the community. Throughout the year, individuals, families, groups, schools, houses of worship, and area businesses participate in one of HomeFront’s regularly scheduled seasonal drives or organize their own. See below on how you can have an immediate and positive impact in the lives of local families through participating in or organizing a drive for HomeFront clients.

Donation Drive FAQs

Thank you for donating items to help HomeFront Families! Bring donations to our Donation Center at 1880 Princeton Avenue, Lawrenceville, NJ. Hours: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM weekdays, 9:00-12:00 PM Saturdays. Drop-off site is past the ramp in our parking lot.

  • Please fill out a donation receipt when dropping off your in-kind donation so a thank you letter will be mailed to you.
  • For social media recognition, email us your handles and photos at GetInvolved@homefrontnj.org.

  • If you’re donating a large amount of collected items and live in Mercer County, you can reach out to us to discuss the possibility of HomeFront picking up your times. 
  • Pickups can only be coordinated for items that do not fit in an SUV, and will be coordinated between 9:00 AM –3:00 PM on weekdays.
  • Email pictures, quantities/dimensions of the items, and your preferred pickup times to getinvolved@homefrontnj.org.

You can request a tour via email or alert the warehouse staff when you arrive. You can also check the box on your donation receipt asking to be contacted for a tour.
